Note the Allegheny Front Trail carries on across Underwood Rd, but the section between Underwood Rd and Rte 504 is CLOSED to bikes and pretty much unrideable anyway.

Description

Entering off Beaver Rd., start with a short 1/2-mile climb through the pine trees followed by a flowing descent through the ferns down to the bridge crossing. This is a challenge given the single rail at handlebar height. Across the stream through the campsite and across Smays Run Trail (forest road), you then begin a 1-mile climb up through the trees before the descent and short riser to Underwood Rd.

Access Info: This trail can be accessed from Beaver Rd or off Underwood Rd.
