A nice place in the trees to ride in Black Forest.

Description

This nice trail follows the perimeter of Black Forest - Section 16 Park. It is comprised of nice rolling hills, with a decomposed granite trail base. Some sections of the trail can be very sandy, but these just add to the workout. Going west from the parking lot results in a more gradual climb with a very fast downhill on the east side of the section. Going east from the parking lot results in a steeper climb over about 1.1 miles and then mostly downhill for the other 3 sides.

Some deep sand, but overall easy, relaxed ride, no other bikes, a few horses but not many hikers. 4mi — 1h 30m
