Mostly Dry, Fallen Trees - Still a couple trees, but pretty good all things considered. Trails were dry, freeze/thaw seems to be over. History

Getting forecast...

Accotink trails are located between the cinder path and rail road tracks.

Overview

Accotink trails are designated for daytime use only.
Family Friendly: This is the cinder path through trail from Lake Accotink to Rolling Rd
Dogs: Leashed

Description

From the Cross County Trail CCT, this path crosses Accotink Creek, then heads south, paralleling Danbury Forest Drive to the gas compression station along Rolling Road and the dam at Lake Accotink. It is a mellow trail, and is fairly wide. This is a popular spot for runners, walkers and people with kids, so keep alert for other users.
