Description
Park in the large lot off of South Bay Blvd. From here, take the trail to the left/north end of the parking lot, this is the entrance to the Quarry Trail. It starts with a 1/4-mile straight climb up some singletrack with some mild obstacles (5" rocks). From here, it flattens out a bit before another small climb.
Once you have finished climbing, it is relatively flat and has some nice berms on a couple turns and there are a couple small jumps that are accessible in parts. There are many trails that connect to the Quarry Trail, the first is
Live Oak Trail, about 1/2-mile into the ride on the right. After that, there is a trail off to the left that is basically hiking only that heads up to Tiki rock, a great steep hike with fantastic views.
About 100 feet past that (on the right) is the
Park Ridge Trail followed shortly by the
Canet to Quarry Connector. The Quarry Trail dead-ends at private property. If you head right, up the hill, that will take you on to the
Canet Trail. All make for great loops, but taking Canet to Live Oak back to the parking lot is one of my favorite loops.
