Family Friendly This paved and then fine chat surface is a great way to get your family away from traffic!

Need to Know

The chat is fresh as of May 2018 and rain has washed out some places along the side of the trail. Use caution if riding at night if you're not used to paying attention. Watch for vehicles at every major road crossing, people aren't used to cyclists in the area yet.

Description

The City of Andover has paved a 1.75-mile section of the Red Bud Trail that is six miles away from the paved section of Red Bud Trail in Wichita, KS. The trail between these two paths is not officially open, but some ride it anyway. This would make the section from downtown Wichita to Andover about 12 miles long. The latest addition to the trail extends from 13th Street east to US54 highway. Sadly, the bridge over Highway 54 was removed a few years back and local efforts couldn't stop it.

What about the people that live along that stretch of trail. Do they have no right for person security, right for privacy. Amendment IV the right of the people to be secure in their person, houses. Right to feel safe in their homes. Nov 2, 2018
