Two-way trail.

Description

After the prairie, the trail traverses ski trails to the top of the first climb. You have the options of following the ski trails for their full length to get to some extra distance and climbing, or of taking a short cut to get to the singletrack faster.

The top of the hill is at the southwestern most corner of the loop, which has a break in the trees, giving you a fantastic view of South St. Paul and the Mississippi valley. Once you're at the top, head north and bomb down a grassy doubletrack. Keep your eyes open for the Battle Creek Road Connector Trail on your left. Or continue going straight to hit the Big Sandy Loop.
