Description
Rock Jock is blazed with blue rectangles.
You can access this trail from either Flat Hollow Trailhead or Drive-By Trailhead. From Flat Hollow, head west, turn onto the
Flat Hollow Arch Trail immediately past the rusty tank, and take it to near its upper terminus to access the current (as of spring 2017) southeastern end of Rock Jock.
From Drive-By Trailhead, drop down and cross the creek onto
Shackle Rod Trail and take it to the intersection with the northwestern-most terminus of Rock Jock. You'll immediately ascend Hayduke Holler to gain
Lower Spring Hollow Road in about 0.2 mile.
The Sheltowee Trace is located roughly three miles to the west.
This trail is the part of a planned longer system in this drainage which will ultimately tie into a greater system on the 700 acres the RRGCC owns in the Big Sinking drainage.
This land is owned by the Red River Gorge Climbers Coalition. If you enjoy riding/climbing here and want to see more trails, please donate to
