The Turkey Flats Trail #661 is on Pinon Mesa, part of the Fruita Division. It connects Forest Service Road #400 to the Reservoir #1 Trail #663. At the beginning of the trail, it climbs gradually through an aspen stand and continues into spruce/fir. You eventually enter a long meadow where the Turkey Flats Trail intersects the Haypress Trail #662. Stay to the left as the trail will enter another aspen stand and eventually begin to climb again before ending at the intersection with the Reservoir - 1 Trail #663.
