This is one of the most popular paths in Colorado and is constantly chock-full of runners, walkers, cyclists and everything in-between.
This path follows the Cherry Creek Greenway from Cook Park past Cherry Creek Mall, where it jumps onto the sidewalks around Denver Country Club, then drops below grade along Cherry Creek between the legs of Speer Avenue for the rest of its length.
In the sub grade section there are many fantastic murals and graffiti, user density increases as it approaches downtown, and for the last mile, north of Colfax, bikes are restricted to the west side of the creek and pedestrians to the east.
At Confluence Park, you can drop in at the flagship REI, spend the day at Elitch Gardens amusement park, catch the trolley down to the aquarium, ride down the South Platte Trail to Mile High Stadium, pop over to the Pepsi Center for an event, hit LoHi for eats, or go downtown for all it has to offer.
