A dry and dusty dirt road with a big dip.

Phil Reyes

Description

The area immediately adjacent to Glenn Ranch Road is being developed so branching trails will be closed. More info available at saveportolahills.org

Part of this trail may or may not be closed due to construction. As of 6/21/15, Whiting South Spur, a main trail that branches from this one, was open.
The Edison Riding and Hiking Trail connects with the Glenn Ranch Road parking area of Whiting Ranch via a bike/pedestrian tunnel under Glenn Ranch Road. The trail skirts behind Oakley and around power lines. The most interesting feature is a big dip into a small creek bed near the tunnel. This trail along with the Whiting South Spur and other branching trails may be known collectively as Edison Viejo or the Oakley Trails.
