Features -none-

The wilderness boundary is just past the lake, so if you want to go beyond the lake stash the bike and hike from there.

Description

A beautiful canyon and one of the few trails for beginner riders in the Bitterroot. 95% is on a car-free, mellow doubletrack. There is one section of singletrack at the trailhead and another short stretch around a cabin in the canyon.

Technical or difficult? No. But a fun spin up the canyon with awesome scenery. Popular w hikers and horses so a weekday may be the best bet. 10.4mi — 1h 30m

Thanks for posting these trails in the Bitterroot @Lance Pysher, great for shorter rides and accessing the wilderness boundary and hiking/running from there. Jun 26, 2018
