Overview

This is the best MTB trail east of the I-95 corridor in North Carolina. You'll be treated to hills (yes, hills) and rolling singletrack through beautiful hardwood forest.

Description

Now 7 miles in length, from the very beginning, you'll not believe this trail is located in Southeast North Carolina. Where did these hills come from? Brown's Creek Nature Park has it all. Climbing, Downhills, XC, Switchbacks, Bridges, etc. There are no other trails east of I-95 as challenging as this one. Great design, great ride.

Brown's Creek features a full loop starting in the parking area. There is also a practice track for all skill levels adjacent to the parking area and next to the trailhead.

If you are a GPS / Strava user, your distances will be less than the true length of the trail.

AMAZING TRAILS AND RIDE! Really well put together trail system and it seems to be expanding, as people were there digging. 10.1mi — 1h 34m

Surprisingly well maintained and rideable given all the rain we’ve had. I’ll give that to the drain pipes and ingenuity that went into this trail.… 5.6mi

Being from Western NC, I'm use to climbing, a lot..., so when a group of us went to ride this I thought how much climbing could there possibly be down here? There is climbing! It's short and punchy, but it'll get you breathing. The trail was in super shape because they had just had a race there, and the berms and jumps were great. More technical than speed, but still a ton of fun. Mar 27, 2017
Really fun ride and surprisingly varied terrain with great flow and some little climbs to work for! Apr 27, 2018
