Description

The PHQ Hill Climb is a wide service road that zig zags uphill between Spruce Saddle and the summit of Beaver Creek Mountain (11,440 ft.). The gradient is gradual and consistent. This is a multi-use trail, so expect to see hikers and service vehicles. The gravel in the corners can be loose, so control your speed. There is very little shade and conditions are often dusty, so bring lots of water. Views from the summit are great, and you deserve to enjoy them after that thin air ascent!
