Description

West Fork is one of only a couple trails you can use to get to Laguna Coast Wilderness Park from Irvine without having to drive or use paved roads. It climbs up Bommer Canyon and dives right under the highway. It's a standard dirt road and doesn't offer much in the way of views or technical riding, but it's very useful in getting to/from Irvine and the beginning of the coastal trails.

Note that you can only access Bommer Canyon by car using Shady Canyon via Culver, not from the other direction - unless you are lucky enough to live in Shady Canyon!
