A very easy gravel road up to Elk Falls Lookout.

Ian Eldridge

Overview

Description

Lion's Back Trail is a very short jaunt that starts at the intersection of Marmot Passage Trail and Bugling Elk Trail at Elk Falls Pond. Head right, along the shoreline, and ride up the gravel road for 1 mile until you reach the section of the trail that is hiking only. The very short hike from here allows you to see Elk Falls, and provides a great spot for lunch. Turn around and go back the way you came to Elk Falls Pond.
