A switchbacking trail featuring water-bars and a few technical moves to navigate.

Brian Smith

Overview

This trail is uphill only on odd numbered days.
Dogs: Leashed

Description

The Argos Trail climbs from the bottom of Apex Trail to a junction with Pick N' Sledge. For the most part this trail is not too steep, but the climb is steady. That said, there are a couple of steep, technical sections that provide a challenge. Furthermore, some riders will find the mid-switchback water bars difficult to navigate.

Enjoy the views of Golden and Denver as you climb.

No more waterbars or technical moves on this trail. Just a smooth, albeit fairly steep grade. Jun 15, 2017
