Need to Know

There is no shade on this portion of the mountain - it can be very hot in the summer from sunup to late in the afternoon.

Description

The Argos Trail climbs from the bottom of Apex Trail to a junction with Pick N' Sledge. For the most part this trail is not too steep, but the climb is steady. That said, there are a couple of steep, technical sections that provide a challenge. Furthermore, some riders will find the mid-switchback water bars difficult to navigate.

Enjoy the views of Golden and Denver as you climb.
