An alternate climb up Apex trail.

Matt Thoele

Description

An alternate way to climb Apex Park. A constant climb with exposed sun, this connects Grubstake Loop, Apex Trail, and Sluicebox. It's primarily loose rock over hard pack trail with several tight switchbacks and steep sections.

This trail thaws early after a snow.

I like to run it, I would love to bike it but I'm scared to fall off as I would seriously break something. If I slip and fall running, less damage. Aug 21, 2014
