Description

From the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge visitor center, head SW on American Blvd E, and the trailhead will be on your left. There will be gates to prevent vehicles from entering the trail, but pedestrians and bikers can enter. The trail zooms downhill and skirts around the flood plain before running along the river bank. The trail connects up to the Minnesota River Bottoms - 77/Cedar Segment at the Highway 77 bridge. To get to the Minnesota River Bottoms - Mendota Trail on the south side of the river, take the pedestrian bridge at 77.

The land on which the trail is located is actually managed by several organizations:
National Park Service -Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge
