A connector trail from Four O'Clock Road to the Ski Area trails.

Don Leinweber

Overview

Description

Reservoir Trail and Sawmill Trail begin at the same location; near the Snowflake Lift bottom terminal at the intersection of Four O'Clock Road and King's Crown Road on the west side of Breckenridge. There is a large sign at the trailhead, and both routes have a marker post. Sawmill Trail follows Sawmill Creek (the low road), and Reservoir climbs below the Snowflake Lift to a subdivision ski access trail (the high road).

Reservoir singletrack hugs the eastern side of the ski trail, crossing a road overpass, ski bridge. The trail climbs to Sawmill Reservoir, then follows counterclockwise along the shore. On the west side, the trail becomes a bit confused. Pass into the forest and look for a timber bridge and the singletrack continuation to the west.

Cross this bridge riding almost due north. The trail crosses through a clearing then intersects Four O'Clock trail at a three-way junction.
