A new 4-mile trail that connects the top of Quarry Mountain with Lupine.

jjruhle Ruhle

Overview

Description

This newly made (summer 2014) trail connects Lupine to the top of Quarry Mountain. Due to the very mellow grade and tons of sharp switchback turns, this trail is probably better ridden up than down, but it is certainly fun in either direction!

It also passes through some beautiful forest terrain. Pines, aspen, ferns, and all kinds of lovely forest smells await you.

Since it is a new trail and fun to ride, it can get quite busy on weekends.

If it's been dry for a while, expect the switchbacks on this trail to be covered in deep "moondust" dirt.

Getting forecast...

It's a long 4 mile trail that is all climbing after climbing quite a ways up Lupine. It is one very beautiful trail, and many dead trees were cleared near the top last fall. Not easy, but not hard... it is well worth the effort! Apr 27, 2017

Bottom to Bluffs, to Lupine, Lupine to Morning Gloria, and then back down. Morning Gloria is a good climbing trail. Did it with my wife and 13 YO son. It was a bit rough in some points with some of the washed out rocky areas. But it was still very fin and enjoyable. May 31, 2017
