A tight loop around the airport and runway, mostly on decommissioned forest roads.

Description

Starting at Lake Mary Rd & Lone Tree, this loop will take you around the airport and its runway. This loop connects to countless active and decommissioned forest roads, motocross trails, and singletrack trails.

Approximately 1 mile of it is on paved road, as you pass the terminal. It's fairly flat, save for moderate climbs at the beginning and just as you approach the paved stretch. Some of the more open areas on the southeast side can be very sandy, while the shadier areas can be very muddy depending on the season.

Nice morning. Little windy. Stopped to look at my phone by the airport terminal and fell over at a complete stop in the loose gravel. Ha!!
