Overview
This is the AZT route that goes right through Flagstaff, allowing for convenient resupply or lodging. It cuts off Passages 31 and 32, which go around the city to the east and don't have easy access to amenities.
Description
This section diverges from Passage 32 in the valley below Fisher Point (no road access). It goes northbound through Flagstaff on a mix of forest doubletrack and urban trails. A short detour can lead to all manner of services in town. After crossing McMillian Mesa and Buffalo Park, the trail returns to national forest and takes rocky trails along the base of Mount Elden and the Dry Lake Hills. It eventually ascends
Schultz Creek Trail until a signed junction, where it turns off and reconnects to Passages 32 and 34 (no road access here either).
