Description

Like climbing? Like mountain biking? This is the trail for you. Sailing Hawks provides access to amazing bouldering

(see: mountainproject.com/v/saili…). This is also a fun, semi-technical ride easily accessed from town.

Sailing Hawks is a great trail to go ride for those seeking technical climbing or hoping to improve their technical climbing. Although technically challenging, the grade throughout is fairly mellow and makes for a nice pedal. The back end of the trail has a very fun descent that is full of rock sections, tons of line choice, and some sneaker doubles sprinkled in. I would say 50/50 imbedded rocks vs loose rocks. Good trail flow can be found with pumping and line choice.
