Overview

Description

This trail is up and down, but stays at roughly the same elevation as it winds around the mountain. You'll drop into Strawberry Meadows, which still has some nice big pine trees, and descend further to the trail junction with Strawberry Peak Trail.

Did this trail in the opposite direction starting from Strawberry Peak Trail. It is okay. Views are great. Very rocky, very loose, very technical, and not a lot of speed. I would not want to ride it in the other direction. Just my opinion. Feb 15, 2016

01/11/2018 - Having never been on this trail, I decided to connect it after climbing up to Josephine's Peak. How hard could it be? This trail turned out to be a handful for a rider with average skills like me. Also, I wouldn't recommend riding this trail solo like I did today. There are plenty of "opportunities" for things to go wrong along this single track and an off here could turn into a seriously bad situation. Best suited for y'all with mad trial skills. Anyway, I'm glad I did it, it's a beautiful canyon. Jan 11, 2018

This trail should really be considered a hiking trail. Super technical and lots of hikers on the weekend. I felt like an idiot walking my bike up this trail with all the hikers laughing at me. Stick to the main Strawberry Peak Loop which is way more rideable. Feb 6, 2018
