There is no shame in walking-out a few sections. Be careful, as a wrong turn here has dire consequences.

Description

This trail starts right across from the Art Smith trailhead and climbs for about a mile to a sweet vista with the entire desert floor below you.

Take a deep breath, because the gnar gnar is about to commence. Hold on while you rail down a cliff hugging, cactus riddled, joyride! This trail is fast, loose, rocky, and crazy! After this wild ride, give some other trails a taste, you won't regret it.

When the trail drops into a fairly large wash, stay right and continue down the wash. Cathedral Canyon Trail climbs out of the wash to your right.
