There is a $7.00 park entry fee.
Description
The Technical Loop has the most challenging features of the three competitive loops. It starts off with two sphincter-clenching plunges that make this the expert track of the park.
Bypass around the drops have been added, giving those without health insurance a chance to enjoy the loop as well. A short, stiff climb up to the top of T-Bone Ridge gains about 200 feet of altitude with a little rockiness and minor exposure. This is soon followed by a loose, rocky descent that actually rolls easier than it looks.
After passing through a tunnel under the
Sport Loop (The Chunnel) it is a smooth, banked, cactus-lined racetrack. The Technical and the
Sport Loop roughly parallel each other back to the parking lot. At just under three miles the fun is over quickly. Remember you paid to enter the park, so give it another spin to get your money's worth.
