Update

A wide fire road loop - don't forget to ride the little terrain park at the end!

Johnny Yip

Overview

Easily accessible from the highway, this park offers some easy riding on dirt road with some hilly sections. Great for doing laps.

Description

This loop is mostly wide fire road with a few short sections of steep hill. Because it is so close to the neighbourhood it's easy to drop by early in the morning before work or in the evening to run some laps. The riding is varied from narrow singletrack with switchback to wide hilly sections. Some sections do have loose rocks so watch out.

The highlight of the route is the terrain park at the far end. Not steep enough to catch big air but you can definitely do jumps and tricks on it.

Most of the route is exposed so don't forget to pack some water on a hot day. Watch out for hikers.

Getting forecast...

a really good trail for 1st timers, and for an after work quicky. Oct 2, 2016
Very easy trail, nice for a quick afterwork loop. Definitely put on sun blocker, it's very exposed. Don't expect to race, as it can be super crowded. Jul 28, 2017
