Description

Riding North on Newman Trail begins with a 400 ft climb on a great singletrack cut into Precambrian Red Bluff Granite. This 1.25 billion-year-old rock is among the oldest rock in Texas. Once you reach the summit, take some time to admire the great views of El Paso to the South, Anthony's Nose peak to the West and the Organ Mountains to the North. Continuing North you'll descend along a great winding roller coaster singletrack into Hitt Canyon.

Nice trail, super singletrack. I wouldn’t say it’s overgrown yet, but it’s definitely grown. Hard choosing between cactus and cliff.
