A great way to ascend or descend the Soldier Wash system.

Overview

Description

From the bottom, start in open forest with small spindly trees that are fun to navigate. It gets a bit steeper at the top and ascends Ant Hill. There are a few g-outs and wash crossings. Smoother than most in the area.

Note the south end of the trail is unsigned, and just dives off the sidewalk near a culvert.

Great views at the top. Only Black Diamond part is coming down from the view point. Steep and loose but not very long; rest of the trail is Blue.
