A dirt road suitable for beginning bikers or for connecting to and from the singletrack.

Nick Wilder

Overview

Description

This is a useful connection from Oak Creek to Sedona. Though certainly nothing special, this is a good way for beginners to experience mountain biking in Sedona or a good way to connect the destination-worthy singletrack in the area.

The surface to smooth, wide, and easy the whole way.

Easy up the hill from the end of the trail. Took a fun offshoot on way back down that was more advanced. 2.2mi

Getting forecast...

Riding the road on its own is pretty fun, especially riding down to the southern parking lot where it is a smooth surface with fun rollers for getting some air. Just watch out for hikers. Great ride for beginners and more challenging than a forest service road. Nice views the whole time. May 28, 2016
actually a fun easy ride in Sedona with some great views. It's nothing spectacular but if beginner or just wanting to get some easy miles in it's good Jul 10, 2016

This is a good trail to ride as an introduction to Sedona landscapes and geology—very easy if you stay on the loop trails. The Bell Rock/Courthouse system has many side tracks up Bell, to Little Bell, and into hidden parts of Courthouse Butte. Some are better accessed on foot. It's also a short ride into the Village of Oak Creek, for lunch or supplies. Jan 11, 2017
