“Burly is, well, burly. Lots of short, steep climbs and very sharp turns.”
— jeff parker
Burly starts with a nice fast downhill, then crosses over a wet, lumpy woodland bottom with several small boardwalks before climbing onto a fairly steep hillside covered in hardwoods and balsam fir. Here it begins numerous short, steep climbs followed by descents with sharp turns, a few run-outs over small valleys, then back to climb to the very top in the pine plantation, then one more time down the hillside, and back to the pines and the end at the ski trail intersection.
