Description

Applesauce is a wonderful, flowing trail descending a gentle hill and small valley. Nobody has ridden it and not liked it. Under a forest of red and white pine, it is best ridden downhill, but even ridden back up to the trailhead, it rides almost like a downhill.

It starts in an open field at the top of the hill, and after a little winding it enters the pines. Then the real fun begins. It ends all too soon as you cross the ski trail at the bottom, ride a short segment along a swamp, and intersect with South Side Trail.
