Overview

None - there can be some vehicular traffic.

Description [Suggest Changes]

This is a great trail to link with other easier trails in the area on a mountain bike or cyclocross bike. A decent amount of shade is available on the hot days as well. The nearby Forest service road that skirts the reservoir is sadly private property, possibly a power company. Multiple large fences keep out those wanting to avoid the Steeper grade of the trail.

Other than two kids on the dirt road this was very quite and empty section. Great off day warmup ride. 6.2mi — 0h 43m

Note: double track splits at mile 4.25 and is gated. The gated road to the left is the continuation of Sloan Canyon Road. Gate is to keep out autos. Be careful riding on the initial 4.25 miles as this is a favorite area for young guys with cars: All are polite but the road is narrow and they can drive a little fast. Dec 30, 2016
