Description

This trail is great in either direction, but it's an amazing and relatively long descent for Ohio as described.

You'll begin at an intersection on a dirt road that heads off in four directions of singletrack and two for a dirt road. You are looking for the southwest singletrack entrance, which should be marked. You'll cross back over the road a couple of times as you generally follow a fast ridge south. Then a smooth and exciting downhill section begins that lasts about a mile.

As it flattens out in a hollow, the trail continues past the intersection with the Yosemite trails and then ends at another intersection where trails head off in several directions. These are Copperhead, Red Oak, and Habron Hollow.

End of the lake hope figure 8. Trail is great for winter riding in Ohio. Always seems to drain well. If you like to climb, Lake Hope is a good place to come.
