Description

Pump House Loop is a quick, exciting descent from near the Nara Trailhead to Pilgrim River access, with two overlooks of the river. It begins with a dramatic entry between three huge sentinel white pines, makes an immediate right revealing a great view of the turn in the river, then drops to river access and a closer view from a low bluff. It then quickly climbs back out, all under a canopy of very large white pines and smaller maples.

See if you can find the old pump house overlooking the river.
