Description

If you ride at Lake Pueblo State Park, chances are, you'll ride The Duke. It is a key connection trail that typically you'll start or end a day or riding with.

The trail is travels through three distinct areas (in order of closest to furthest from the main trailhead):
1) An easy section of trail that follows an old irrigation ditch and is adjacent to the campground.
2) A great flowy section that follows alongside Highway 96, and finally
3) a short but tough section of trail that climbs/decends a shallow rocky canyon to the top of the eastern mesa.

Fun way to get to the rim, or an easier way down. That last bit has a couple technical bits going either way.
