Need to Know

This route is popular with hikers as well, so be alert while descending.

Description

The South Loop connects from CR304 and descends down to quickly connect with the Whipple Trail. The preferred direction for bikers is as a descent. But it can be climbed too, if you're not feeling up to the options, & is a great option for gravel bikes (as is Whipple Main Route (6031).

Fun & flowy, South Trail makes for a great route from CR304 to the Town of BV. A great option after a long day in saddle when the legs are drained.

Be alert as you descend. This is a popular area, especially for hikers & runners headed up Midland Hill.
