Description

Vapor Trail starts at the top of the Elk Camp Chairlift, and is best accessed by purchasing a lift tiket from the Aspen Skiing Company. The trail can also be accessed by grinding up the Elk Camp Work Road.

Vapor Trail offers stellar views of the Maroon Bells and Roaring Fork Valley, great sub-alpine riding and many wildflowers. The trail contains numerous bermed turns, and a good number of small table-top jumps during the upper elevation rocky sections. A major reroute of the lower portion (completed Sept. 2015), introduced countless new tight berms and features in the dark timber forest. You'll find plenty of short table top jumps similar to those found on Valhalla.
