Overview

Description

Wow... what fun!

Techno is an idyllic combination of smooth, flowy, fast and rocktastic pump & bump singletrack. I caught this trail the morning after a good soaking rain and am sure this added to my pleasure of this trail.

Start from the top of Badger Pass and head north up along a rocky ledge. Once you navigate up this short hill it's all DH from there. I thought it would be a waste to climb Badger and not ride 3 Mile Smile to the west, but I had a blast riding down her neighbor Techno. At the end of Techno you can return to parking at the Late Night Parking area via Badger or finish on 3 Mile with the bonus White Rhino.

Either way Zen has pegged my fun meter and I will be back.

I know this trail as Techno. I always go from south to north (downhill), it would be a very challenging climb. Mar 23, 2014

Agreed S to N is absolutely the best direction! Zen is the name I found researching the trail but may not be the original... there may be others as well.. Mar 24, 2014

Mark Knowles I think every trail out at Cottonwood has about three different names. Since I started riding out there eight years ago the area has not been signed at all. Definitely confusing to a new rider. Mar 24, 2014
