This fast, flowy trail addition to Reveille's famously described "relentlessly intermediate" trails makes RPR a one stop shop!

Description

Angelfire trail builder Bruce Swan built this trail with flow in mind. As you can see from the elevation profile, it has its share of climbing and descending but this is all primarily on the beautiful, hardpack red dirt that Reveille Peak Ranch is known for. There are some granite sections and creek crossings, but this trail is more beginner friendly than the rest of the technical singletrack at the ranch.

The beautiful vegetation and wildflowers will likely narrow the trail as time passes leaving a wide, singletrack loop that is inviting to all levels.

History & Background

This trail is named in honor of the Carry the Load Memorial Day event which Reveille is hosting for the Austin area. carrytheload.org/
