The Whiskey Creek trail is closed through June 20 (until June 21) for Elk calving.

Need to Know

Though this was once closed to mountain bikes, thanks to the new Everkrisp trail, this is now legal as of summer 2019!

Description

Amazing views and great singletrack descent through a large, mature aspen forest.

It's a great trail until it meets the Everkrisp trail. After that, there is an old (no longer legal) junky section of badly eroded, straight downhill mess of loose rock that leads to a highway culvert.

The loop with Line Shack and Everkrisp makes a great half-day ride.

Really overgrown with hairpin switchbacks that you can't see until you're on top of them. Would be a great trail but needs serious maintenance!
