A great cross county descent outside the ski area.

Overview

Features: -none-

Description

Leave the ski area and cruise down the ridge west of Eagle Bahn gondola terminal. Turn left at the one intersection (the Matterhorn trail goes to the right). Follow an old road to a beautiful meadow and Game Creek. Follow the creek down mostly easy riding on smooth trail. There are some minor technical difficulties near the end, but easy to walk through if you're the cautious type.

Though the trail is not hard, it feels much more remote than most Vail rides, and is something of an adventure.

rode uphill (lolipop bowman-two elk - game creek - bowman). Had to hike-a-bike most of game creek. Jul 22, 2013

This trail ROCKS! I've ridden Two Elk, Cougar Ridge, and now Game Creek and this is by far the most fun. For anyone trying to ride up this, you're going the wrong way. Jul 9, 2017
