Please avoid using this trail during the spring thaw season as it gets very muddy.

Description [Suggest Changes]

Iron Gate is generally ridden as a downhill trail, which is the direction it is mapped here. It's a relatively smooth and swooping singletrack dirt descent with a few exposed roots and tight turns. Features include a skinny, several small drops, a few bumps for catching air and some nicely cambered berms.

There's a split halfway for the Concrete Block Trail going left. This provides great access to Firelane Trail and a more extended ride on the lower portion of Roller Coaster.

A sincerely fun downhill section in Frick. Fairly fast, and somewhat flowy. For a more technical finish, go left after the wooden platform drop and follow trail to connect to Rollercoaster. Nov 1, 2015
