Description

This trail is not nearly as rocky as the Equine Incline - it's more similar to the Way Up Trail. It has some very steep switchback climbs during the first portion, the "stick" of the lollipop loop, which can be very tricky to make it up.

Once you're past those, take the first left. Then, past the overlook I take the trail to the left. Following that around takes you back down by the lake. Keep straight where the trail drops to one of its lowest points and then starts climbing back out.

The loop back is much more difficult than the way out. There are many tight switchbacks that are full of decent sized rocks that can really make getting around a challenge. You'll eventually meet back up with stick of the lollipop and get to bomb down the climbs that you rode up coming in.
