Swamp and spanish moss (on road after the main trail ends).
The rails-to-trails section runs through the Wateree swamp.
As of late 2017 there is construction on the final trestle - you can follow a parallel path below the trestle.
New suspension bridge on the final trestle
Looking west on the Wateree Passage near the suspension bridge. The wooden planking is complete on the last trestle... can ride all the way across the Wateree River bridge without getting off the trestles.
