Local Info
Fernandez Ranch is a fantastic trail system for riders at the beginner or intermediate skill level. The most popular route is to ride counterclockwise up Woodland Trail, the up to the Vista Point, across the EBMUD fire road (cycling use permit required for EBMUD for the Pinole Valley Watershed), then down Woodrat Trail to Whipsnake Trail and finally back to the trailhead on Black Pheobe. The reverse direction is also a fun ride.
