Town Creek Bike Park
Overview
The Town Creek Bike Park (TCBP) has been recently redesigned to become one of the top mountain biking facilities in Upstate South Carolina. The park, which is close to 100 acres in area, is located right outside the historic downtown of Pickens.
The Park was built together with Ride Garden, LLC, as one of the first bike parks in the state that has unique riding features specifically designed for the enjoyment and skill development of the riders through training, a range of difficulties, and environmental awareness.
The Park features a number of purpose-built features that include the eight food wide Appalachian Lumber Greenway that follows the historic Appalachian Lumber Company railroad route while providing a multi-use and ADA accessible path between the Pickens Recreation Center and the Playground of Promise.
Other features include a 4,000' FlowCoaster Berm turn, two wall rides, a dirt jump line, a handful of rollers, five wooden rollers, two large, over-under bridges, raised half-log trail sections, several wooden boardwalks, a pump track, and additional singletrack trails around the perimeter of the park.
