Overview
Deer Creek Hills is a Sacramento Valley Conservancy property that, in conjunction with FATRAC, is open June-October every Monday night for mountain biking. Guided rides are also available on the last Saturday of each month in the summer.
The area is comprised of a maze of social/cow trails that are combined into "courses" using cones. The course changes every week. This is a unique place to ride and a great example of a collaboration between an IMBA chapter and a land conservancy group.
Local Info
Mountain bike activities at Deer Creek Hills Preserve are by pre-registration only. RIders must pay $10 in advance. Some trails are seasonally closed due to nesting protected species. Visit SacramentoValleyConservancy… to register.
