The Pine Hill side is accessed via the Belleayre Beach Parking and can be accessed for free during the off-season. Parking is along Friendship Manor road, just past the pay-station.

Parking for the Lost Clove side is at the end of Lost Clove Rd in a shared parking lot with the Lost Clove hiking trail.

Ridge is an epic ride and can be ridden in many different ways; as it intersects with many other trails. It could be ridden as a proper 'cross-mountain' trail, out and back, only the ascent or descent, or even just a short section of it.

Generally, the Lost Clove side is much more raw, rocky, and unpolished, narrow and technical, whereas the Pine Hill side is flowy, smooth, and feature-rich.

In the local MTB community, the Pine Hill descent is a favorite among Catskills descents and well worth the visit.
