“The primary return trail for the Drop Zone at Huston Wyeth Park.
”
Top Gunnar is a cross country trail that extends You Betcha's route but it was created to serve as the climb up from the Drop Zone. It is a two-way trail and it is multi-use so riders may encounter pedestrians along the way. From the drops, the route from the runout is shorter and steeper. If riders go left, it's a little longer but not as steep.
The south end of the trail is visible where You Betcha meets the Crushed Limestone Trail and the features of the Drop Zone are easily visible. The north end is visible branching off of the flat section of You Betcha near the old concrete picnic tables.
Regardless of which direction riders are traveling on this trail, one needs to watch for riders merging from the Drop Zone when reaching the lowest part of this Top Gunnar.
